Women in science
VECTORS is committed to actively encouraging women's
participation in scientific research. The project Steering
Committee promotes awareness of gender issues amongst the partners
by:
- improving the gender balance in the
project consortium
- taking measures to help reconcile work and
private life
- raising awareness within the
consortium
- encouraging women to represent VECTORS at
conferences
The coordination team will keep statistics about employment,
participation in conferences and other training activities,
ensuring this information is available to all relevant bodies.
